Spotted Sedges, Green Sedges, Black Dancers, Little Black caddis, Short-horned sedges, and October Caddis are important caddisflies.
Conditions
Clear water and strong hatches make the Teton a solid option in late July. As of July 29, flows have dropped to low levels, concentrating fish in deeper runs and pools—adjust your approach accordingly. The upper meadow offers wading access, but most of the river runs through private land; boat access via ramps and bridge points is your best bet, especially in the canyon section where whitewater demands respect.
