Selway River

At 780 cfs as of September 4, the Selway is running higher than August's extremely low water, finally spreading fish out of their concentrated summer slots. Work transitions between fast and slow water instead of targeting single narrow lies. Terrestrials remain a strong choice on top; consider nymph droppers to help dial in where fish are positioned. Flows are rising and conditions are good—not blown out at current levels.
