Clark Fork River fishing report

The Clark Fork is running strong and fishable in mid-October. Flows were measured at 2,940 cfs at St. Regis when the source report was published on October 15, and as of October 16, the river was flowing 9,190 cfs at the Cabinet Gorge gauge with flows rising. The elevated water is good for floating, and fall hatches including mahogany duns, blue-wing olives, October caddis, small fall tan caddis, midges, and spruce moths are active.
